What This Event is All About

Bands Brews & BBQ is McHenry Area Rotary's premier fundraising event of the year. One hundred percent of the event's proceeds are donated to a variety of local, regional, national, and international organizations who help those in their greatest time of need.

This event has contributed nearly $300,000 to student leadership, vocational and college advanced placement programs, meals for the hungry, services for the homeless, humanitarian projects, and more. Your attendance at Bands Brews & BBQ ensures resources will be available for those in need — from local food banks to relief efforts around the globe.

Founded in Chicago in 1905, Rotary now is an international volunteer organization of 1.2 million business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill. Members of Rotary's roughly 32,000 clubs in more than 200 countries address current challenges, including literacy, disease, hunger, poverty, lack of clean water, and environmental concerns.

Rotary is the world's largest private provider of scholarships. Its foundation helps more than 1,000 students annually to study abroad and serve as cultural ambassadors. Rotary partners with prestigious universities worldwide to provide opportunities to earn a master's degree in peace and conflict resolution. Rotary's flagship program, PolioPlus, is helping to eradicate polio globally.

Members of your local Rotary Club meet weekly to plan projects, discuss community and international issues, and enjoy fellowship. Rotary is non-political and open to all races, cultures, and creeds. Interested? Call (815) 341-0012 or visit mchenryarearotary.com to learn more.

We hope that you truly enjoy yourself and sincerely thank you for supporting the McHenry Rotary Charitable Foundation.
